The I3S laboratory ("Laboratoire d'Informatique, Signaux et Systèmes de Sophia-Antipolis") is a leading French academic research unit in the field. The laboratory is home to more than 115 academics including Professors and Associate Professors from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis along with full time researchers from CNRS and INRIA.
The OASIS team is a research team hosted at INRIA Sophia-Antipolis, and is a joint team with I3S CNRS and University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis.
OASIS is leaded by Pr. Denis Caromel. In the domain of distributed applications, Grids, P2P, Clusters and Multicores, OASIS goal is to propose fundamental principles, techniques and tools for the building, analysis, validation, verification and maintenance of reliable and efficient distributed systems.
